TRAGEDY IN LOD: 3-YEAR-OLD TODDLER DIES AFTER BEING LEFT IN VEHICLE R”L
Another absolutely devastating tragedy. 3-year-old Betzalel David tragically died after being left inside a locked vehicle in the brutal heat.
Emergency responders found him in critical condition and fought desperately to save his life. Sadly, after being transported to the hospital, doctors were forced to declare him dead.
Police are investigating exactly what happened.
CBN- I don’t know if this little boy was accidentally left in the car for “just a minute,” if he somehow got into the vehicle himself, or exactly what happened.
WE. NEED. TO. DO. BETTER.
I hear stories way too often of people “running in for a minute” to a store etc and then end up forgetting that they left a child in the vehicle! There is NO “just a minute” when it comes to a child and a vehicle in the summer.
Additionaly, WE NEED TO LOCK THE DOORS EVERY SINGLE TIME, Especially in bungalow colonies, where kids are constantly running around, your car should never be left accessible to young children.
A CBN follower was at Buy Rite Mall in Woodridge on Erev Shabbos and found a 5-year-old child crying alone in the parking lot with no parent anywhere in sight.
The father eventually came running out of the store, was “shocked,” and said he couldn’t figure out how the child got out of the car. 🤯
IF you see a child alone in a vehicle
CALL HATZALAH AND 911 IMMEDIATELY.
We all need to be looking out for each other this summer. If you see something, DO SOMETHING.
I’m sorry for being so blunt while reporting such a heartbreaking story, but I can’t just post another tragic story like this and move on to the next post 💔.
We have suffered far too many tragedies involving young children.
Some tragedies are accidents. But there are also things we can do to make sure a preventable accident never happens.
LOCK THE DOORS. CHECK THE CAR. CHECK ON YOUR KIDS. WATCH OUT FOR OTHER PEOPLE’S KIDS.
We owe it to our children.
