Fire Forces Mass Evacuation at Bnei Brak Yeshivah; One Child Mildly Injured
A fire broke out this morning at the Nadvorna Yeshiva building on Ezra Street in Bnei Brak, housing both a school and a yeshivah, shortly after Seder began.
As thick smoke began to fill the area, staff and students acted quickly, safely evacuating everyone from the compound before the flames could spread. Firefighters from the Bnei Brak and Ramat Gan stations rushed to the scene to battle the blaze and secure the building.
United Hatzalah medics provided care at the scene, and one child was transported for medical treatment after being mildly injured from smoke inhalation. Authorities brought in a fire investigator to examine the area, with initial assessments pointing to a solar heater tank on the premises that ignited, narrowly averting a much larger disaster.
