Hezbollah released a statement claiming their fighters had fired a “naval cruise missile” at an Israeli warship approximately 68 nautical miles off the Lebanese coast, causing a “direct hit.”
Israeli Channel 14 reports it was a British warship, and assessments indicate it sustained damage.
