IDF Demolishes Home of Palestinian Terrorist Following Deadly Terror Attack Near Nablus
Israeli forces demolished the home of Farouk Ramadan, a Palestinian resident of the village of Tell, who opened fire during a deadly terror attack last month.
On July 24, Ramadan seized a rifle from an Israeli security officer near a group of Israeli hikers and opened fire, killing 27-year-old IDF officer Maj. Yuval Ezra HY”D.
Master Sergeant (res.) Benayahu Mellet HY”D, 32, a member of a local civil defense squad, was also killed during the incident, with an internal IDF probe indicating he may have been hit by friendly fire during the response.
Ramadan was killed at the scene after being shot by Ezra, along with three of his cousins who participated in the attack.
Demolition teams and military units—including members of Ezra’s 411th Artillery Battalion—operated in Tell to carry out the controlled demolition of Ramadan’s home as part of Israel’s policy targeting the homes of terrorists involved in lethal attacks.
