IDF Eliminates Over 150 Hezbollah Terrorists in Final 24 Hours Before Ceasefire
The IDF has confirmed that more than 150 Hezbollah terrorists were neutralized and approximately 300 military infrastructure sites were struck in the final 24 hours leading up to the ceasefire.
These intensive operations were part of a final push to degrade the group’s capabilities and dismantle key threat centers before the cessation of hostilities took effect.
The strikes focused on a wide array of targets, including rocket launching sites, command centers, and weapons storage facilities used by Hezbollah to launch attacks against northern Israel.
Among the high-ranking casualties was Ali Rida Abbas, the commander of Hezbollah’s Bint Jbeil sector.
Abbas was a senior figure responsible for orchestrating numerous attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers over several years.
His elimination marks the fourth time an officer in this specific command role has been neutralized by the IDF since the start of Operation Northern Arrows.
