Iran has fired multiple drones toward commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz since the U.S. and Iran agreed to a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on Sunday, NBC reports, citing a U.S. official.

The official said the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is launching the drones and the U.S. military has been shooting them down before they can threaten commercial ships or U.S. military ships and personnel in the area.
