Gedalyahu Ben Shimon Thanks hashem After Surviving Ramat Gan Terrorist Attack

Ramat Gan Religious Council Chairman, attorney Gedalyahu Ben Shimon, delivered emotional remarks this evening at Orde’a Square (Rambam) in Ramat Gan—the very place where he was seriously wounded in a terror stabbing and, with Hashem’s help, made a remarkable recovery.

With deep emotion, Ben Shimon recited the bracha, “Baruch she’asah li nes bamakom hazeh”

He said: “The very fact that I am standing here is a testament to the strength of the human spirit. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated team at Ichilov Hospital, and to Rabbi Aryeh Deri, who stood by my side and ensured I received the best possible care.”

On March 12, Gedalyahu Ben Shimon (47), chairman of the Ramat Gan Religious Council, was seriously injured in a stabbing attack on Bialik Street near the shopping area. The 20-year-old terrorist from Jatt was located during a police search in the area and taken into custody.
