President Trump will be on Long Island Friday to tour law enforcement facilities in Nassau County, a visit expected to draw protesters and snarl traffic.
Trump will appear with Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman, whom he has endorsed in the New York governor’s race.
Blakeman said there will be street closures in the Garden City, Mineola and Uniondale areas, but details will not be released for security reasons. Traffic problems are expected to begin around 1 p.m.
Gov. Kathy Hochul currently leads Blakeman by 10 points, according to a Siena University poll released this week.
