Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, as part of the newly announced ‘Operation Economic Outcast’, has announced major sanctions against over 60 entities and individual worldwide who are aiding the Iranian regime.
Bessent also said President Trump is contacting world leaders and asking them to “cease interactions” with the Iranian regime.
“Around the globe, our objective is to sever every economic lifeline that sustains this tyrannical regime until Tehran stands alone,” Bessent said.
