Enes Kanter Freedom Ejected from WNBA Game After Courtside Confrontation🙈
Former NBA center Enes Kanter Freedom was removed from Wintrust Arena during the third quarter of the Indiana Fever’s 113-90 victory over the Chicago Sky on Sunday evening.
He sat courtside wearing a black T-shirt that read “WOMAN noun. adult human female.”
Freedom has has declared for the 2027 WNBA draft while identifying as a woman to challenge the league’s eligibility rules, arguing that the WNBA’s guidelines nonsensically allow self-identification without a clear biological definition of woman.
After Sky guard Natasha Cloud scored with just over a minute left in the period, she approached Freedom, yelling and pointing. He stood with arms outstretched and mockingly took a step onto the court.
Security personnel and players quickly intervened, escorting him from the baseline area. Freedom displayed his shirt as he left amid boos from the crowd.
