🚨 Prime Minister’s Office – “Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu and Hungary’s Prime Minister‑elect Péter Magyar held a warm introductory conversation a short while ago.
Prime Minister‑elect Magyar said that he intends to continue the close relations between Hungary and Israel, and he invited Prime Minister Netanyahu to take part in a ceremony marking 70 years since the ‘Hungarian Uprising.’
Prime Minister Netanyahu welcomed his remarks and accepted the invitation, and in turn invited the Prime Minister‑elect to a government‑to‑government (G2G) meeting in Jerusalem.
Prime Minister Netanyahu expressed his confidence that the warm relations that existed with outgoing Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will continue during Prime Minister‑elect Magyar’s term.
The two agreed that the foreign ministers of the countries will meet soon to discuss the continued close relations between Israel and Hungary.”
