Senior Prison Officer Arrested in Corruption Probe Following Lahav 433 Investigation
Officers from Lahav 433 have arrested a Prison Service officer along with two inmates on suspicion of corruption offenses, following a covert investigation carried out over recent months.
The officer, who serves as a division commander at one of the country’s prisons, is suspected of forming ties with criminal elements and, through their mediation, granting various favors to inmates under his authority. In return, he allegedly received benefits from the inmates and other associated individuals.
